Fabric:
This is a special one of a kind tote comprising of several vintage fabrics. We started with a US Army wool M-1951 Field Trouser from 1953, for the body of the bag, with a US Army waterprrof duffle bag cloth for the bottom. The pocket on the front is made from several vintage Japanese Boro cloth indigo fabrics, sewn together to create a patchwork with two patch pockets to hold things for easy access. The tote is fully lined with heavy duty navy duck canvas cloth with two interior pockets. The leather straps are made from heavy 12 oz. saddle leather for extra durability and secured on with solid copper rivets.
