The fabric for this pillow cover comes from a vintage wool plaid English shawl from the 1800s. It is a very fine weave, soft and in excellent condition. The main color of the pillow cover is a charcoal grey, crossed with black and a lighter grey. I decided to let the fringe be apart of the pillow design, so I was able to cut the pattern to incorporate this detail. There is an invisible zipper at the bottom of the pillow cover.
