Fabric:
We created a collection of crossbody bags using various different vintage Indigo textiles. They range from Indigo handwoven Shibori from Burkina Faso, West Africa, kantha Quilt from Jaipur India, and handwoven Indigo hemp from Norther Vietnam. We chose to mix different shades of leather for each bag to give them a unique look. Some leathers have natural marks or scratches form the cowhide. We embrace these marks and utilize them in the designs. Please see all photos with front and back views. The straps are heavy leather and secured onto the bag with solid brass D-rings and rivets. The front flap closure is secured with a solid brass stud. Each bag is meant to be worn across the body for easy hands free layering.
