Inspiration:
We designed these vessels to be a beautiful accent piece for your home. They can be used as a flower vase or to hold a large candle. They even look nice just on a mantle or shelf on their own. They make a wonderful wedding or house warming gift as well.
Process:
The vessel are made by my husband who hand blows the glass in a hot shop in Brooklyn and then cold worked at our cold shop on our property. The vessels come in a medium and large size and are offered in a few colors. This particular one is made in an opalene white color which creates this beautiful ombre fade from top to bottom. We use heavy vegetable tanned leather to wrap around the vessel and secured with natural Deerskin lacing to give it an organic feel.
