I love Indigo Calico quilts from the late 1800s, and it's rare to find on with such a large navy border on it. I knew this would make an amazing Utility jacket. The colors, calico prints and pattern on this quilt are just beautiful and since it's a summer weight quilt it lends to a great drape for the jacket. This style is a relaxed fit, unisex and one size style with a collar, front patch pockets and button front closure. We even used vintage wooden buttons from the 70s for this style. It's a great easy piece for layering this Spring/Summer season, and into Fall.
