We fell in love with this vintage Hmong Hill Tribe Indigo Batik cloth! We chose to make a tote with it by combining vintage selvage denim from the 70s for the bottom portion of the bag. The Batik cloth is vintage hemp from the Hmong Hill Tribe in Northern Vietnam, and has the most incredible texture to it with a beautiful pattern and indigo shade. The interior is fully lined with navy canvas and a light weight denim top hem facing. We also made an interior zipper pocket to hold all of your loose items. The straps are made from natural vegetable tanned leather from Wickett and Craig tannery and secured on with solid copper rivets.
