Fabric:
We chose this block printed patchwork Kantha Quilt from Jaipur India to create this one of a kind jacket. The fabric is block printed, patched together and then handstitched through several layers of cotton cloth to create the Kantha Quilt. The inside of the quilt is solid blue which we usde for the interior of the jacket. We love all of the hand stitching throughout the entire piece. We combined hand woven and indigo dyed cloth from West Africa for the sleeve and front bands to give the jacket a unique look. The jacket is a relaxed fit and is a unisex piece and one size fits all. It drapes well over many different body types.
