We created this unique tote bag by combining a vintage denim selvage duffel bag with an 1800s era quilt patch. Together they make a truly one of a kind heirloom piece. The denim cloth is such a beautiful rich denim color with great subtle fading at the top hem where you can tell the duffel bag had been drawn over the years. These were usually military duffel bags, and the denim ones are very special. The quilt patch is made with small calico prints and is in the classic star quilt motif. The bag is fully lined with heavy cotton natural duck canvas and has an interior double pocket to hold your loose items. The straps are made with a heavy 9oz. brown leather and secured on with solid copper rivets.
