Each vintage Batik textile is unique and different. This one is so unique with an Indigo Batik pattern that then has bright color embroidery work on the top of the batik at the hem as well as the middle of the textile. This is a traditional textile of the Hmong Hill Tribe people in Northern Vietnam. Sometime these Hemp textiles are used for skirts but we decided to use this vintage cloth for a special one of a kind tote bag. The back side of the tote has one indigo and cream section which is so special. The interior of the bag is fully lined with natural canvas cloth and has a zippered pocket to hold all of your loose items, also made from vintage indigo cloth. The straps are made from a natural vegetable dyed 9oz. leather from Wickett and Craig tannery and secured on with solid copper rivets.
